Team and schedule

Inviting someone to the team

The owner, or anyone with manage team permission, can invite a new person by email, assigning a role (owner, admin or employee) from the start. The invitation expires if it isn't used in time.

Roles, permissions and status

Every member has a base role with permissions already defined, which can be fine-tuned by granting or revoking specific permissions (for example, managing clients, or seeing the full schedule instead of only their own). A membership's status can be active, suspended or deactivated.

Any change to role, status, scope or permissions is a sensitive change: it always asks for a reason before saving, and the last active owner of a business can never be removed or suspended.

Available for booking

The "Bookable" switch decides whether that person shows up as an option when creating a new appointment. Someone can be part of the team without being bookable (for example, an administrative role that doesn't take appointments).

Schedule and time off

The business's general schedule defines when appointments can happen. Each team member can register their own time off (vacation, sick leave, a one-off commitment); Seika never offers those windows as available when booking.

Viewing their appointments

From a team member's detail view, "View related appointments" shows the appointments of the clients they've served or have assigned, defaulting to a recent period with the option to widen it when you need to look further back.
